Danny 63,
There many examples of descrimanation inthe book A Tugging String. One example of discrimanation in the book A Tugging String is when the Hector, Dorothys husband got fired. He got fired because Dorothy tried to stand up for her self but when she did the white person that she stood up to told Hectors boss and then Hectors boss had to fire Hector just because Dorothy was standing up for her self and her color because she thought that it would make a better life for her and her skin color.

Jenna 62,
One example in the book A Tugging String is when the blacks were marching for freedom and the police would beat them. This march was called Bloody Sunday because the police would beat the blacks as they marched with clubs and barbed wire.Almost every demonstrator was arrested or sent to the hospital if they were really injured.
